Michael Moore, FUCK YEAH.

Other than that, ya know, I know the world sucks right now......

but it's kinda weak to spend $80 on food for an Oscar party and only have ONE person (a near neighbor) show. It's the most expensive cozy-TV-watching-at-home-eve the Kitty-Boy and I have ever had.

Where the fuck were y'all?

Oh yeah, and in other news - way to go, US troops! Way to shoot down British planes! And way to throw grenades into US tents, by way of taking the disgruntled-employee role to new heights in wartime.

But that's the way US troops usually die. "Friendly Fire" (sucks to be Canadian, eh?) or accidents. Yeah, yeah, cry me a river.

THIS IS AN EDIT:
Might have been incendiary, that last post, even though it was only words. But I have noticed this, how many US troops die in helicopter crashes, "friendly fire," and the like. I am NOT cheering. I wish no one would die. I wish George W. Bush and Saddam Hussein, those leaders who use such similar rhetoric about "evil" and "god," would just get it over with in a duel to the death that involved only the two of them. But I have to ask, when the most technologically advanced army on the planet kills its own allies, what excuse is there? None.

So much of this "support the trrops" rhetoric is left over from the Viet Nam era, when young men who were drafted came back and were called "babykillers." And that was terrible - but guess what? There are no draftees in the US armed forces any more (unlike Iraq). Why should they be exempted from being taken to task if their negligence causes tragedy or loss of life? No reason. No reason at all, any more than if a Domino's Pizza driver runs over someone while trying to make that half-hour limit.
