That experiment with posting fic only in my Insane Journal and my Greatest Journal but not here went pretty well, I think. Maybe not as many comments as I would have got here, but that's OK, it was just a WIP bit anyhow. (Excerpt from a plotty Snape/Hermione episode).

Also, I'm going a little nuts on that 2000-icon business. That's just decadent.

Meanwhile, I had a great time working at the big gay street festival yesterday despite the heat. There was an amazing African band; it's quite the thing here to sell sangria at booths (holds up in the heat way better than beer) and I'm now the proud owner of a really big glossy red erection candle that was so much way cheaper than I'd thought it would be I shudder to think I might not have even asked were it not for the sangria.

I've been thinking of getting you one of those candles ever since that fic, and wouldn't have thought of getting it a nice natural red shade, so yay, and now I don't have to! %D

Huzzah for sangria which is similar to, but not quite exactly what I'm currently drinking. 8]
