Vanity, thy name is vanity...

...OK, maybe going without setting foot in a hair-cutting/styling type place of any sort since the Clinton administration is a kind of perverse anti-vanity. But it's so easy to keep putting it off...well, I did get a haircut today. Now it's upper-back instead of nearly-to-the-ass, and it's layered a little and has body and stuff. Wow. Most importantly, the dead ends are gone.

I always tip nearly 100% on my cheap-ass Supercuts jobs, because my hair is a pain in the ass to work with. Not only was it pioneer/pentecostal long, it's baby-pubes fine. It "cobwebs," which means it sticks to itself and tangles instantly. It's very snarly. It's slippery. The poor lady trying to wrangle with it actually cut herself on a strand of it. It also breaks easily. Also, according to her, I can't have bangs because my forehead's too small. That's fine. She knows what she's doing, I don't.

Yay, big improvement! I just want combing it to hurt less and require less lube.

You know you have been in fandom for awhile when:

So, I was scrolling down my friends page, and all I saw, at first, was "I just want...it to hurt less and require less lube."

*facepalm*

But yay, haircut!
