Nervous flail!

My life is saner now than it was at this time last year, so I think my next great adventure is going to be finally working up the cajones to sign up for Remix/Redux. I just need to get all my archiving updated. I'm eligible in three fandoms: Good Omens, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. I'm willing to take cracks at many others.

My "safe" story? I won't be declaring one! Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

I'm considering offering only fandoms I haven't written in :-) although I'm still not certain I'm going to do this again. It's been a lot of fun in previous rounds.

Oooh, can you do that? Nah, I wouldn't. One thing it looks like a good chance to do is offer my services in fandoms where I've seen the source material, I know the characters, but I don't feel confident enough to generate whole story ideas myself (a lot of TV/movie fandoms fall into this category for me, since I always feel more secure with text-based stories: I could try PotC, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars...)

Yeah, that's kind of where I'm at. I might offer Good Omens, for example. :-)

Wow, I'd never let anyone rewrite my work. I've done it enough to myself.

It's a total playground for me. I'm SO excited to see what someone else would do with my stuff as a basis. (It's kind of like being a "canon" source for fanfic, is how I see it. Which would be AWESOME.) Rewriting my own stuff...eh, boring. Necessary, but boring. The magic of Remixing is the chance to interact with SOMEONE ELSE'S BRAIN, which means getting SURPRISED. Which I occasionally manage to do with myself, but not in the same way. :D

I also can't wait to see what I'll get to work with! Mwahahahah. XD

Squee! Maybe you'll get mine. :)

You'd have to offer at least one fandom you've previously written in.
