Where have I been?

That's a good question. Nowhere very interesting, or I'd have remembered.

So, BSG watchers on the list: I was in a conversation about crossovers with [livejournal.com profile] musesfool, and I brought up the fact that BSG is a potential Little Black Dress for crossover crackfic because, well, they're looking for Earth. And all sorts of things could ensue when they find it...at any time.

Before continental drift, when the continent we now know as Europe was called Middle-earth?

Sometime in a summer in the late 1980s when the Apocalypse comes due, the Horsepersons are riding, Atlantis has risen, and at least a couple of beings are trying to outwit the bill collectors?

Can you picture a nutty-but-driven Viper pilot landing on a small Caribbean island during the Golden Age of Piracy?

Right now, like, next week, during the real Presidential campaign? What would make the trainwreck even more entertaining? Some Roslin and Baltar shenanigans?

***

Would this make a good idea for a fic fest, and if I created the community, would you pimp it?

YEESSSSSSS. THE ENDLESS ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES!

There are some good crossovers out there, and yes, I would but in the journal I keep for such things.

A friend of mine suggested a Doctor Who/BSG crossover and ever since, the Doctor and Laura won't shut up in my head. They're just having arguments about everything, argh!

Erm. Yeah. I'd be willing to get a-crossing.

Heh. BSG and any other fandoms we want? That could be pretty cool...

I'm too lazy consumed by other fandoms currently to actually write for such a thing, but I'd be very interested to see what others could come up with...
