Fannish dreams last night.

I dreamed I was Luna Lovegood. Or maybe Hermione because I had some traits like her, but I really think I was Luna.

There was some very odd business about a trip to New York with a wizard/witch band, and I had a tantrum and quit the band because I thought "they" (whoever "they" were - the promoters? Death Eaters?) were dissing us by making us take all these roundabout flights. There was some nonsense about calling my parents to get money for a Greyhound bus ticket back to Hogwarts until I remembered, duh, I'm 17, I can Apparate! (Not onto the grounds of course)

When I got back to school, the dream took a turn for the Snapishly pornographic. That's the predictable part.

WTF, Greyhound bus tickets? I've got to find a way to work a Greyhound bus trip into an AU HP fic somehow.

Luna Lovegood on a Greyhound bus sounds like a good fanfic. People-watching is always fun on public transportation, but winding up next to her on the subway would win the prize.

Yes, but the fanfic I write in my subconscious is full of Muggle Americanisms. *weep*

I survived the many loooooong Greyhound trips I took in my college career by being the Spooky Girl no one wanted to sit next to. I had a headless rag doll that I used to whisper to.

Smart move- you've got the window seat and you're not climbing over anyone to get to the bathroom. I wish I could make that work on planes.

Wow -- that's *awesome*. And I can totally picture that...hehee!!! Too bad that *can't* work on airplanes too, since the seats are assigned and usually full-to-brimming anyway. (sigh)
