Arrr!

Can I just say how happy I am that my favorite bar/rock club is organizing canvassing trips into nearby battleground states? And there's a big fat mass of regulars who are willing to meet up at 7 on a Saturday morning to carpool?

I just fall in love with my city all over again every day.

Two of the owners are going on the trip. :D

That's awesome! :)

I have to say, it's unusual for me to be in a swing state this time around. I've always thought, 'eh, but my vote won't elect a President'. Except this time, it might. :)

Or rather, a battleground state. Not a swing state. (not sure what the difference is, really...)

Are you coming to Wisconsin? Everyone else seems to be!

Battleground states...It makes one feel like I should be meeting people on the border with catapults and spears and such. Or at least tea and a cake...

Fell in love with the Cook Co. Sheriff myself.

Funny how Illinois seems to be the first to show compassion on so many issues...

Yup, Racine!

That was totally awesome too. Love that guy. :D

What date?

Today! I had already gone to bed or something, sorry! (Getting up at 6 AM is NOT something that comes naturally to me. Staying up for it I can handle fine, but...)

Probably next weekend too - the trip was hard frakkin' work, but it was good work!
