Why proofreading is good: web site on birth order
Quote, on only children: Likes being the center of adult attention. Often has difficulty sharing with siblings and peers. Prefers adult company and uses adult language.
True dat. Especially this sentence: "Often has difficulty sharing with siblings and peers."
Why yes. Sharing with siblings was difficult. I would go so far as to say...utterly impossible.
Now, on a different note: Every once in a while, I come across a story that reminds me why I fell in love with fanfiction in the first place--the sense of possibility, and the way there are some very excellent things that only fanfiction can really do.
Here's one of them: The Sin Eater, by
fluffyllama.
Historical/RPS crossover slash, I guess.
Albus Dumbledore/Aleister Crowley, NC-17.
Hot, dark, disturbing, and wise.

I guess I could have tried sharing with someone else's siblings...
