So there's a little bit of a movement afoot to get folks back on LJ for some old-fashioned posting at length and the kind of posting and discussion that just doesn't work very well on Tumblr

I've tried, but I just can't get into Tumblr. Sure, there's some nice stuff to look at when I bother to run a search, but it lacks about everything I was looking for in an LJ-replacement.
