It's about the casting announcement for the Amazon series. We have our Aziraphale and Crowley (Michael Sheen and David Tennant respectively) and Tumblr is lit up. Some people delighted, some people enraged, you know how it goes. By later in the fall I expect we'll know a lot more of the cast, and I imagine people's DO WANTS and DO NOT WANTS in the exchange will reflect wherever the prevailing wank goes.

A sleepy fandom wakes up screaming, basically. :D

Ohhh, right: I saw some wank-adjacent discussion on FFA the other day. (By the way, I have you to thank for my addiction -- you mentioned FFA in the Tumblr Refuge comm on LJ during the 221B Con debacle, and ... I WISH I COULD QUIT YOU, MEME.)

I have such clear images of Aziraphale and Crowley from reading the book and fic; I have no idea what the actors look like and kinda don't want to know, because *precious headcanon.*

You know what David Tennant looks like - he was Barty Crouch Jr. and the Tenth Doctor. I think it's an excellent choice, myself.

I'm an FFA regular - it's a hell of timesink but it's definitely my kind of timesink. It helps to keep me sane when the madness bubbles up.

I love movies, so who knows why this is, but I'm really out of it when it comes to visual media; I've never seen any of the HP movies, and Sherlock is still the only series I've ever followed from start to finish. (I watched Moonlight on a plane, so that gives you an idea.)

My FFA habit's gotten really bad since You Know What, though every so often I accidentally start wank and then make myself stay away for a week or so. I get some great fic recs there, though.

Oh my! Do I dare participate this year at all? (I have no idea how I'd be expected get the wanted/unwanted actor into or out of the fic at all. - On the other hand I'm so utterly neutral I'd be equally happy to write for either side.)
