The lowest placements are accurate, I think, although not in terms of what I'm willing to READ. A good writer can make even very boring things like working in a coffee shop or being in high school worth reading. I've done both and have no interest in reliving either, so I probably won't write them ever - at least not as MUNDANE REALITY AUs. Hogwarts AU is basically high school AU - but it's so much more compelling if there's magic.
