SNOW!!!

*dances*

Beginning to look a lot like Yuletide.

GOE gifts are coming in a steady stream now. Soon, soon, my darlings, soon!

I know! I went out to get coffee, tamales and tangerines, and then buried myself in grading for some time. When I looked up again, the ground was all white! Yay!

*looks for good snowball-making mittens*

IT's kind of crunchy for that right now.

And now it's more like I'd need a chisel/spatula one-two combo. *sigh*

But it's also ice and sleet and grossness galore. If it was only big fat fluffy snow, I'd be making angels and/or demons.

I just went out in it, I should know. When there's ice on the ground I walk like I'm 90 years old and I don't care who sees me. XD The ice in the trees is shiny and pretty when the light hits it, though. So I bought myself some Yule decorations at Family Dollar (and they look it, too.)

The best part? I found some ornaments shaped like sparkly apples. I'm going to get a toy snake for a garland and have a Tree of Knowledge Tannenbaum.

HAHAH! I love that idea! If I bothered with celebratory measures, that would be a perfect way of doing it.

I'm torn on the treetop thing. I should probably go for the standard "tarty angels with pine trees stuck up their--". But there's these ornaments at FD that are supposed to be good St. Nick but look a lot like Big Gay Dumbledore to me. :D

*snork* It's always a good sign when you can quote back your own work in proper context :D

Hmm, didn't someone mail a tiny little angel from Canada last year? (mine meant a brutal end in the jaws of a cat, but maybe yours survived)

Lucky you. It's warm and rainy here and we have a storm warning for this afternoon (and guess who's got to go tutoring English pupils by bycicle).

But well, there's GOE to cheer me up... *beams*
