I hope everybody in the path of that ice storm is safe and staying home. That shit looks scary on the Weather Channel. (I haven't got much of it - it seems the suburbs got some bad stuff, but it's stayed barely above freezing here in the city so it's just plain ol' rain so far.)

The hubbie had to drive all the way to Iowa for work training :( Thankfully most of it missed his route, but I still spent all night fretting and pacing and hanging onto the phone. Now I won't see him until Thursday evening. I'm all in knots.

Drawing pr0n (for an entirely different fandom) has been the one thing keeping my mind occupied. GOE is great, but it's not quite enough.

Winter has really decided to show its teeth this year, hasn't it? Last year, we didn't have weather this cold and nasty until well into January.

I hear there's another ice storm follwoing in this one's path. Just what everyone needs right now. Here's hoping it fizzles out.
