She came to me via the Anti-Cruelty Society. They billed her as skittish and shy but she's already almost tripped me twice with the ankle-loving thing. Oh, she purrs. She's about 2 years old.



Perhaps my nights of uninterrupted sleep are over.

I'm sure she'll fatten right up. She'd been at the shelter for four whole months, and she'd had a kitty cold but that's all over now.

Hee. Living with that troublesome spirit so near my head for so long while writing "The Phoenix and the Turtle," as soon as I realized I had a mischievous girl, she couldn't have been called anything else. XD

Hoooray!! Welcome Madimi!!

We got our tortie Pandora from a rescue society too - said she was "difficult" and we were her second family ... but she's the biggest sweetie. Honestly, the most loving cat I've had.

Madimi was supposed to be difficult. In fact, I almost didn't get her today because she was being wayy too pissy to be removed from her cage for me to play with. But I just starting petting her in the cage and she calmed right down. Then she got medieval on a drinking straw used as a makeshift cat toy.

She's named after the mischievous spirit that John Dee and Edward Kelley because acquainted with all too well while doing their angel-channeling thing. She was the one who recommended wife-swapping, among other things. XD

She's SO PRETTY! And so all up in everything. I've got a tiny apartment, but it's cluttered and has lots of little hiding nooks for a small cat to get into; she's LOVING exploring the place. I thought she would be scared at first, but she hasn't been, at all.
