Cat out of the bag.

Believe it or not, it's been almost a year since Madimi came to live with me. (3/9/08)

Yup, she doesn't believe it either.

For all her well-documented mischief, there IS something weird and angelic about Madimi that blows my mind to this day.

In all that time...she has never barfed.

That's right. No hairballs, no hacking, no puking, no ralphing, no yakking, no hawking, no horking, no regurgitations. Eveything that's gone down has stayed there, and there have been no surprises for my bare feet in the dead of night.

Is this normal? Is it healthy? Every other cat I've ever lived with has left some sort of visceral commentary somewhere. The lack seems downright unnatural.

I'm not looking in her mouth at all if I can help it. Her breath is bad and her teeth are sharp. :D I just appreciate her barflessness very, very much. She doesn't have dry-heaves or fakeouts either.

I swear, with my last cat, the puking was recreational; a hobby even. He seemed really into it.

That's good, so she's probably fine. And like QW said, I suppose she could eat it if she did--though if she's finicky, maybe not. Mine that doesn't puke too much tries to scratch and cover the other cats vomit and anything else on the floor he doesn't approve of. (Once, one of my dad's socks. xDD)

Lol, with some of them it is. xD
