weather. Oh for FUCK'S SAKE!
I would so love some nice deep pretty snow--as the initial forecasts promised. I'm one of those carless urban people who doesn't care how deep it gets because I have long legs and good boots and a cell phone to call in late when the train is pokey. And, priority number one (aesthetics über alles) my city is so frakkin' beautiful sheathed in white!
But you know what sucks more than anything for those of us whose primary transportation mode is shanks' mare? Slush, ice, and wind. And the kind of blustery cold rain where there's no protection because the wind will break your umbrella instantly.
I'll take six inches of snow over 30 MPH of wind ANY day.

If you like deep snow, you'd love it here today.

This blizzard packed blasts that felt like knife slashes. Yuck! I hope we don't get any more of this sort of weather this season (a forlorn hope, I know). It's too early in the winter for things to get this damned cold!

The slush, ice, wind and cold rain don't sound so good though. *sends you a mug of frothy hot chocolate topped with marshmallows* But neither is the feeling that you're in an oven here, when I start sweating within a few minutes of coming out of the shower. :/
Will you be posting a picture of the winter wonderland, then? ;)
