More porn written in first-person POV than I've ever seen anywhere else in fandom, that's what. (I'd probably have seen more if I read Twilight fic, but I don't.) The cumulative effect is remarkable.

Hee! 's true, though. I have to say that with the recent small explosion of Dresden Files fic (or at least, subjectively, in that several of my flist are into it and have been reccing) I am tempted to read more of the series.

Oh do read them! It gets better. I think with that mini-explosion, it's a very very small version of what happened in HP fandom during that long hiatus between books four and five: the last DF book ended on one hell of a cliffhanger, and the new one's not expected out til summer.
