Meme making the rounds

Pick up the nearest book to you.
Turn to page 45. The first sentance [SIC] describes your sex life in 2012.

"Had her mind been calmer she, the woman out of Faery, would have known that one of those shadows was a man."

From The Song of Rhiannon by Evangeline Walton.

Is it bad that my first reaction wasn't "that sounds creepy," but "YAY! That sounds promising"?

Not bad really. More fascinating and "how does one interpret that?"

I can't even do this meme at the moment. I'm in my "library" room and would literally have to measure to find the nearest book. XD

Hm ... Let's try that. *grabs nearest book*

"Acordingly he started off at 2 a.m. on September 4 with some 1,200 men, by the upland path that leads past the hermitage of Los Angeles"

... So 1,200 men in 4 months? HELP, that's too much!

Oh! Mine is too horrible!!! This is what I get for trying to start The Sandman on my break...

"Mom woke me up when we were coming in for a landing."

Sounds like my next year of wedding planning will be full of interference of a parental nature. Dang it.

Great, all I get is something about 18th century court-martials. :/ Where's my exciting shadow-man??? (Let's just not get into the question of connection... and whether I'll be hanged for my sex-life.)
