The epilogue to "The Bone Fiddle" was finished today. (At least as finished as first drafts ever are. No spoilers except to say that, wow, this is one story that really needs a fanmix to go with it. Fortunately, I've made one!)

I voted already, but holy SHIT is tomorrow gonna be stressful anyway. I have a returns-watching party invite with good friends, though, so that helps. (Four years ago I was in Grant Park in Chicago with several hundred thousand "friends"; this won't be like that, either way.)

If you're a US citizen 18 or over, of a progressive bent, and you don't bother to vote? You're dead to me. I don't care where you live.

Early voted last week because no way was I gonna wait in a line at the last moment...

Which btw, the line waiting has been absolutely shameful. The images have looked like a Third World country, which just shows how fucked up we are that the GOP has been able to get away with this. We need reforms and fast.

Omg, my heart can't fucking take the election this time, things are just too close for me to be comfortable. And god help all of us, if Romney wins.

I voted on Saturday - the line was three hours long. Everyone was pretty patient and good-humored about it and I'm glad I got it done.

They'll do anything to steal votes and prevent people from voting, never forget that. This isn't an accident, none of it.
