Ye scurvy dogs!
/obligatory.
At this time last year I was writing GO pirate!fic and getting ready to start up
go_exchange and waiting for axes to fall on me on both the relationship and work fronts - steady state of dread that made swashbuckly escapism a white-knuckle necessity.
A year later, one ax has fallen and the other is lowering slowly but looks like it might miss me on this particular chop (though I'm not 100% sure I want it to). I'm still here, writing GO historical!fic and getting ready for
go_exchange and still more than alive, if a little stressed and harried.
Funny that for some people fandoms are fleeting things. For me, they seem to have become my stability.
Also, I seem to have a neighbor now with a fine body and no curtains. How about that!
