Written for the Porn Battle Amnesty challenge on Dreamwidth.

Fandom: Lord of the Rings
Pairing: Aragorn/Watcher in the Water
Rating: NC-17/E
Warnings/Content notes: Rape/non-con, tentacles, nonconsentacles, tentacle porn with no redeeming social value.

Summary: During the all-too-brief years of Balin's reclamation of Khazad-dûm, the Ranger Aragorn of the Dúnedain embarks on a mission to gather information and warn the Dwarves of peril. The Doors of Durin are still shut, and the peril that lurks nearby is one no one had imagined.

Prompt: Aragorn/Watcher in the Water, tentacles, lust, pheromones, wet, indignity, body, shame, undressed, slime, dark, mud

A Ranger, Caught Off His Guard at AO3

I don't think I've ever written straight-up tentacle porn before, believe it or not!

Fest is here! GO PORN!

Title: Firebird
Fandom: Sherlock
Rating: E/NC-17
Threesome: Sherlock/Mary/John
Warnings/Content: Threesome - F/M/M, Gunplay, Gun Kink, Voyeurism, Light D/s, Exhibitionism, Oral Sex, Fingerfucking, Vaginal Sex, Scars, Tattoos, Dom!Sherlock, sub!Mary, Voyeur!John (at least for a little while), Adrenaline

Summary: “When you've begun to think like a gun / the days of the year have suddenly gone” --John Cale, “Gun”

Three addicts, now never hurting for a supply for their danger fix. They’ve warped and changed each other to fit together better. They really do love each other deeply - and never more so than when they’re being terrible role models.

Author’s Note: This is an AU where everything’s the same except Mary was never pregnant. (I just didn’t feel like dealing with a baby in this one.) For the Porn Battle XV prompts: John Watson/Sherlock Holmes/Mary Morstan, games, voyeurism, secrets, truth, lies, vows, danger, guns, adrenaline, forever

This is a darker take on this triad than "Genetic Markers" was, but they’re all still having fun together. (Don’t try this at home, kids.)

No Porn Battle per se this year, but there is the Amnesty/Golden Oldies Fest at Dreamwidth, opening tomorrow. The source is all prompts still open from the last 15 rounds of Porn Battle.

I've got one almost totally ready to go (sans polishing) and one half-written. And much as I was trying to branch out? Yeah. I must admit it: My M/M/F poly triad kink, let me show you it. Given a chance to write that, I will ALWAYS take it. (At least it's two different fandoms this time)
vulgarweed: (come_by_jackshoegazer)
I was really unreasonably gutted that there won't be a regular Porn Battle this year - I hadn't realized how much I rely on it to snap me out of the January doldrums and inspire me to try new things.

BUT! All is not lost! The Porn Battle Amnesty group at Dreamwidth (pbam) is running an Amnesty Challenge from February 15 through the 25th, and the prompts that are up for grabs are . . . every single prompt on the books from the last 15 editions of Porn Battle! That is potentially a lot of porn. So I'm in and I want to spread the...word.

Porn Battle Golden Oldies!

Last year, I wrote 5 Porn Battle stories, in 4 different fandoms. (Well . . . are The Hobbit and The Silmarillion really two completely different fandoms? Especially since the characters I wrote about in the TH ficlet also appear in the Silm? Yes and no). I'm going to try to beat that this year. A greater number of stories and of fandoms, that's my goal. Also to get some femslash in this year. Last year my tally was 1 f/m, 2 m/m, and 2 m/f/m threesomes.

This will be especially challenging because February is a hectic month with travel to a con at the end of it, AND...

I also plan on doing [livejournal.com profile] come_at_once for the first time.

Obviously I'm going to have to cheat by starting now.

Cheer me on! I accept all manner of virtual stimulants and encouragements.

Darkness Alone Is Worshipful

Fandom: The Silmarillion
Pairing: Annatar (Sauron)/Ar-Pharazôn

I struggled with this one, and now it feels like it wants to grow into something longer.

It's a sappy, bawdy comedy. I'm not sorry.

Title from this song, for that great scandalous line snuck in near the end.

As it happens, this is my first Sherlock fic actually set in London in the 2010s. Not that it matters much.

Long, long, frustrating story - but for now, I'm just relieved I didn't have to spend a second night in that crummy motel in Nashville. ><

More interestingly, [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis has another porn battle raging. And do I have to remind you once again, the Good Omens Anonymous Kink Meme exists? (I think I might be having a bit of a pout because, after nearly a year and all the fics I've written, only one of my own requests has been done.)

So I did manage to get a little writing done for the IJ porn battle....

Seems that gender-bending warrior-bonding femslash was my theme this time.

Discworld (Monstrous Regiment), Polly/Mal, "taboo."
(Squick warning on this for a very special kind of, ahem, bloodplay)

Crossover, Chronicles of Narnia/Lord of the Rings, Aravis/Eowyn, horsewomen.

The glorious [livejournal.com profile] hyel and I kept crossing each other - I think both the prompts I wrote were hers and I know she wrote two of mine and did an AMAZING job, so the least I can do is rec the hell out of her:

A Moon-Lit Challenge (Crossover, Good Omens/His Dark Materials, Adam/Lyra, revolution)

Dream Interpretation (Crossver, Sandman/Hellblazer, John Constantine/Morpheus, dream interpretation)

and one that wasn't one of my prompts but I wish it had been:

Heaven (Moby-Dick, Ishmael/Queequeg)

The wonderful thing about [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis's Porn Battle series is that there are SO many prompts, SO many fandoms, SO many pairings (and moresomes), SO many possibilities.

It's a fantastic opportunity to try one's hand at something new--characters, fandoms, pairings, situations, I'd never even dreamed of writing before. Something completely different. A new adventure.

This was not that day, however.

Dark and Stormy Night. (Good Omens, Aziraphale/Crowley, prompts: rain, wings, Eden)

Oh well. At least I played with a slightly different style.

Other fandoms tempting me at the moment are His Dark Materials, Gormenghast, 3:10 to Yuma, Flight of the Conchords, and just maybe, This Is Spinal Tap.

Let me take this opportunity to urge EVERYONE to participate. You've got til Sunday. You've got the space of a comment box for your swive-by.

Well, [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis posted her Porn Battle Postmortem yesterday, and wow.

In the space of one week, it generated 384 pornlets in 99 different fandoms, by 162 different authors/artists (and 3 anonymous submissions). Now that is a service to fandom!

I'm pleased with my 5 contributions in 5 different fandoms (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Good Omens, and Lost Souls)--3 of which were written in one 24-hour period--though I'm not even close to the most prolific author (14!). It's nice to know I can go quick 'n' dirty (heh) on deadline fairly reliably. And honestly, I don't think quality suffered much, since they were all only in the 600-800 word range (comment fic size limits) and I think my bunnies for all of them were reasonably solid. My biggest "problem" is keeping plot OUT of my PWP - I still mostly fail at that.

The stalwart [livejournal.com profile] pesha has compiled a Web site where you can search by author or fandom - invaluable indeed - and also links to all the prompts given (more than 2,000), which are still up for grabs for anyone to play with.

Original PB post in all its 16-page glory.
