There are eighteen gifts still outstanding for GOE. (Mind you, four of those are by recently-drafted pinch-hitters, so no pressure on them--at least one of whom has already submitted one other finished gift).

There are at least two people who have had deaths in the immediate family and/or circle of friends in the past month and still managed to complete a lovely gift by now. Kind of puts all the other excuses in perspective, doesn't it?
