well this week's off to a great start.
Jul. 13th, 2009 10:58 pmFound out that a neighbor's cousin (age 50, visiting from TX) was beaten to death last night not very far away from here. The whole building is pretty rocked - it's the kind of place where we talk to each other and know each other. :( More info to come as I get it. Right now, it looks like it was gang-related.

divinetailor and Roo for the Field Museum pirate raid!). LOVE YOU ALL MADLY. I also want to offer some (belated and not) birthday love to eveiya (a birthday twin! Yay!), telperion1, shaggydogstail, sociallydevoid, and to those in the next few days, sirius_luva, elentarie_valie, musesfool, and sarken. What a shining collection of jewels in the friendslist you are. Also, for today, to Harrison Ford (67), Patrick Stewart (69), and Dr. John Dee (482).
