OK, OK, I'll send poor Ann a check. *is even guiltier* Poor thing. Letting men named "Snake" buy her dinner. What sad times are these, etc., etc. (Her blog is actually pretty funny, as she saves all the whining about money for gmail-chats to me.)

(He's 6'3"/135 lb., and once when he went to a gastroenterologist for a consultation about acid reflux, the doctor gasped as he walked through the door and said, "You shouldn't have waited so long!" assuming he was malnourished.) But for those of us who tend towards the fleshy side, it is very depressing to realize we look our best after horrible illnesses.
