I tend not to get crushes on actors per se, no matter how foxy they are...for some reason my affections tend to wind up with characters.


But after seeing Viggo Mortensen in his homemade "No Blood for Oil" t-shirt on the Charlie Rose show, adorably indulging in an off-topic rant on about how much he hated the notions some people seem to have about The Lord of the Rings being possibly able to be interpreted as some pro-war, pro-American-raining-death sort of statement, and how if that parallel (which doesn't work in any case) was going to be made at all, wasn't it just as likely the US in its current foreign policy was more like Saruman....

I may have to rethink that position on my crushes.
