vulgarweed: (ineffablelove_by_cinnamonblood)
Good Omens slash bunnies are among the fiercest and toothiest. (Especially when it seems I've promised more to half my friendslist).

It happened like this: at [livejournal.com profile] lower_tadfield, [livejournal.com profile] angelsinstone requested drabble bunnies. [livejournal.com profile] whimsicalmusing came up with "I'd love C/A. As smutty as you dare. A sexual power struggle of some kind. Who ends up coming on top can be up to you. :) pun intended"

Chomp. So, with permission, I pinched it. However, that is not a frickin' drabble bunny, sorry! That's a mofo. Their ongoing power struggles are usually much more refined these days--that screamed pre-Arrangement to me. But not too far pre-Arrangement.

So in a marked departure from modern London, or the Garden just post-Fall, or even Civil War America, this fairly smutty little shocking abuse of history takes place in...Dark Ages Scotland? My muses moonlight as a perverted travel agency.

Still might need a little tightening up. You guys get it first.

ETA: Tightened. Thanks! Now headdesking over its shocking lack of title.

ETA2: It is now called "Amid the Sacred Wreck," which is an awful way to treat a phrase from Wordsworth's poem "Iona." But then, it's not really that great a poem.

ETA 3Blazingly hot and gorgeous illustration by [livejournal.com profile] quantum_witch, here.
