This is for use_theforce_em, who did such an awesome job beta-reading my lengthy GO AU piratefic for swashbucklathon, Brag It Out With a Card of Ten. There's a lot of sex implied in that story, but pacing-wise there's nowhere to put it explicitly, so I promised her a hot'n'heavy "deleted scene" for any pairing in the story. Then it turns out she got my own request and wrote the scorchingly hot Right Between the Deadlights, which has plenty of room for explicitness, and made me all the more determined to give her something nice she isn't going to find anywhere else.

So. This is the pairing she asked for, and since a beta-reader is every bit as important as a quartermaster, the title has a double meaning. ;) Oh, and if you think you catch an echo of a scene from the Harry Potter series, you are correct.
