With no family within 700 miles, no time to travel, and no aptitude for cooking, Thanksgiving is generally pretty much just another day for me. More depressing than the usual, slightly, since so many of my friends are out of town.

Besides, when it comes to holidays, I'm like 7 years old and if there aren't pretty lights, costumes, fireworks, or presents involved, I'm usually not all that interested.

I think the first one in 6 years living alone is going to be bumpy, though. Any suggestions?
