Errrm. o.O; I'm getting comment notifications via LJ, but not by email. So I don't know when someone replies to a comment somewhere that isn't my journal, and, uh, IT SUCKS. O_o

Any idea whatsoever as to why this might be?

Hotmail. And I'm getting actual emails just fine, or at least seem to be, so I don't think that's it.

Hotmail and a few others are blocking LJ right now. I think the others are MSN, Cox, Netzero, Juno... and I'm not sure if there are more. So far, gmail isn't and I haven't heard anything about Yahoo.

No, sorry. All I know is what I've heard beyond what I've already said what remains is that LJ is trying to get those providers to unblock them but that is up to the provider.
