OK, I'm still hung up on this President as Father Figure thing (for better or worse) and Barack Obama is no way old enough to be my father. Older Brother Figure? Boyfriend Figure? Cousin Figure? That Teacher's Aide That Everybody Flirted With Figure?
Oh, I'm such a stereotypical Gen Xer, viewing the generational shift with nervous skepticism. Power? Authority? Oh hell no, that just means when something goes wrong, everyone blames you.
