Yeah, there's some serious potential there, isn't there? Of course the connection was always there with Dom Monaghan (the reason I started watching Lost in the first place, like a lot of people), but this just makes it nice and fresh, especially since she's playing a dreaded OFC.

I can sort of see the reasoning, I guess. LOTR is a sausagefest, but The Hobbit doesn't have a SINGLE female character. Not one. Even the giant spiders don't get a gender like Shelob.

At least Arwen was in the books, and THEN they blew her character out of proportion

It would be pretty hilarious if she only got the same amount of screen time as like Figwit XD
