"The Bone Fiddle," all ~60,000 words of it, has been edited, revised, and sent off to beta!

Over the last 4 months we've lived together in this AU world, htebazytook and I have:

-suffered old-time-fiddle poisoning (it's like alcohol poisoning--the line between a good time and a crisis point is a fine one)
-had our Google ads full of John Deere tractors, hunting equipment, and the Greenbrier Hotel & Resort
-had to reverse-Britpick ourselves even though we are both actual Appalachian-Americans
-learned an awful lot about the chemistry of coal-mining pollution


and

-reached the point where we both realized we were having so much fun that going back to writing alone would be difficult indeed. (But we can, we both have a lot of other stories to tell, in some cases on deadlines.) A toast to you, htebazytook!
-I finally found out how to pronounce her username (the 'h' is silent)
-already have a handle on the plot hook and a few key scenes of the sequel.
