GOOD THAT'S VERY GOOD I WANT IT TO FEEL CANON. :D The names are always the hardest part. You need something that fits and makes sense for the culture (and this John is from of one of the Elven peoples who never made it to Valinor, so he'd have to have a Sindarin name, as opposed to this Sherlock, who's a Maia, therefore Quenya at least to start with oh GOD KILL ME NOW. XD) But I really like this one, it resonates agreeably with its original name, it's not pretentious or tongue-twisty, and it fits. God bless the Tolkien folks at fail-fandomanon. (Right, like I have the least bit of anonymity when I go there asking for help on this.)
