The Middle Distance

Honestly, I think you can say fuck it and dive in (That's what our hero usually does! :D). You've read it once before, and I think you might find it coming back. Everything in these two stories happens pretty early on in the Silmarillion so if you want a refresher you only need the first third or so of the book. But I think you can get the gist just fine, especially since porn vastly outweighs plot, and Sérelókë tends to infodump all the time anyway just like all his incarnations. :)
