Hm, haven't updated in a while. It's been a frantic weekend; I've spent most of it in the parking lot of my favorite rock'n'roll dive, the Hideout--huge festival to commemorate both the Hideout's 10th anniversary and the Touch & Go record label's 25th.
It's hard to convey to someone who was less geeky and obsessive about underground rock in the 80s and 90s just how overwhelming it is to see The Ex, Killdozer, Scratch Acid, Man or Astroman?, and for god's sake, Big Black, in one day.
Needless to say, today I am a jelly doughnut.
But!
Hark!

Date: 2006-09-11 05:24 am (UTC)My longest stretch at the fest was yesterday, when it kept threatening to rain but never did. 60s and overcast is absolutely perfect outdoor-festival weather, IMO.
