Well, this October has definitely been suitably autumnal for my tastes.

I'm a bit sad I've decided not to participate in yuletide this year, but it's for the best. My therapist and I were just talking about anxiety issues today. Deadlines are good for my writing but bad for my nerves, and I have enough already for now. Besides, I'll have fun doing what I did last year: picking up an orphaned request for NYR '07 and giving someone a happy surprise at my leisure.

Things making me happy on LJ today: linaerys's Continuum of Slash. So handy to have it all diagrammed out like that!

Also, sixlittlewords. For those who find drabbles too rambling and wordy.

Oh yes, we've had it back for a good week and a half now. Hallelujah. And Digory is much better, thanks! (Although calling him "wee" is still a stretch.:P)

Heh, it's all relative. Though I do outweigh him by 100 lbs (unlike, say, my parents' dog) that's not much comfort when he's nearly punching through my sternum. :)

All cats -- from my six pound lady to my 16 and 18 pound boys -- know exactly, exactly where to step for maximum ouchie. (And I can say with great confidence that tigresses are a LOT more queen-sized than vulgarweeds.) ;P

Digs makes the most of his 20 pounds. Especially right on my abdomen at that time of the month. He knows.
