So now I can announce to the world that apple_pi wrote my beautiful giftfic, Casual as Birds. Thank you so much - it's still just as moving as the first time I read it!

Yeah, I was one of the double-dealers. Several people guessed the first; only one guessed the second.

Notes: This is one of the filthiest things I've ever written; knowing it was for that slathering pornhound waxbean was a big ol' enabling factor. And her prompts were such sexy crackfic material - imagine my shock when that, ahem, cocktail started jelling into something that made intense spiritual/metaphysical sense to me! And considering just how smutty it is, I'm delighted that I got so many wonderful comments about characterization and plot.

Notes: This was a pinch-hit, and I really wanted to do something nice for allthisnonsense, and this bunny hit me upside the head hard; it was one of those stories that just poured out in a few hours in something very close to its final form. (The Discovery Channel played a role.) She'd asked for a lot of elements that I've written before and love writing again and again, and I admit I welcomed this opportunity because I've secretly always wanted to write one of those Sex Cures Hypothermia stories. But because it's Aziraphale and Crowley, it calls for a WTF setting and some historical figures making a cameo (one of whom is still alive, sorrysorrysorrySir!). Sorry, Aziraphale. Your extreme measures to find quiet and solitude have failed.

"Rarified Air" was a hoot to write too.
