Here's my entry #2--yes, I'm way behind, but I have two other WIPs I hope will roll tomorrow.

How about a canon het pairing for a change? It's Lord of the Rings, angsty Éowyn/Faramir.

That's because SGA is trying to make up for the fact that their writers completely ruined the series arc after the first season. XD So everyone must smex to distract from it! EVERYONE! (It is a constant source of amusement for me, personally. I stopped watching partway into season 2 because I just got too bored.)

Wow, though. Eowyn and Faramir. That was sad. And beautiful. And sad. I love those two so much. I actually wrote a conference paper in my freshman year of college about LOTR, and one of the main discussions in it was why Eowyn ended up with Faramir. *cuddles them in their angst*

I shouldn't have clicked the link to the prompts, though. My slash muses are on such high alert lately, I came across the pairing Bruce Wayne/Henri Ducard for Batman Begins and my brain went yesssss. *facepalm* It did that with a number of other pairings, seeing as I managed to download a favorite episode of Star Trek: Enterprise (yes, I watched it for a while, try not to laugh) and watching it this time I saw a slash pairing that never would have occurred to me four years ago. And someone else saw it and put a prompt up for it. And the inevitable Kirk/Spock/McCoy prompt kinda made me want to know if I could make that work for a change, and.... *headkeyboard*
