My blues today were nothing (a) getting my work done in spite of adversity and (b) an evening with G eating overpriced trendy pizza (he paid--we're quite the pair; I'm broke, he's broken) and watching a vintage Blue Oyster Cult live 1976 DVD, couldn't cure.

Nothing says Christmas like crackfic!

This is why I can't be trusted with social or family gatherings on holidays. Given any free time whatsoever, my brain tends to go places like this and stay there, and next thing you know I've lost the thread of every conversation and burned the pudding.
