I'm not quite sure of the mechanics (or indeed contortions) involved but I have to say it sounds like a clear violation of good Health and Safety practice in the office. I mean, can you imagine the humiliation of shorting out the photocopier while trying to produce said copy and then attempting to explain it to tech support.
