Throat scratchy and raw.

There's nothing else wrong with me that I can tell, and I could easily have gone to work...if my job didn't involve hours of talking, that being the one thing it hurts to do. That means, short paycheck coming.

*snarl*

Oh well, at least I can write. I will make myself more coffee and do just that, while watching leaves blow around in weird vertical patterns.

yuk. I'm sorry, I hope your throat recovers soon. That happened to Sonya back when she was working for hexo-star; she lost her voice, but showed up for work (because if you call in sick, they write you up) , and got sent home because she couldn't answer phones. And they wrote her up, anyway.

I'm fond of crows, too. They're a perfect pathology bird.

There is part of me that knows I shouldn't ask this, but the rest of me wants to know: what do you mean by "perfect pathology bird"? I'm picturing something involving semi-fermented bodily fluids because, well, these *are* crows we're talking about here...

They're clever birds that take apart dead things on a regular basis. The other alternative is the vulture, but crows are smarter and prettier. so there.

Nice. NICE. Pressuring people to come to work sick, thus making sure they pass whatever they've got to as many people as possible, and harassing THEM for it in their turn.
