I know I've been working hard. That in and of itself does not account for this ridiculously harried feeling.

But I still remembered to wish my mom a Happy Birthday. Due to a small-town birth-certificate snafu that was revealed a few years ago, she isn't 100% certain if she's 59 or 60 today - so I wished her one of many happy 59th birthdays to come! She can piss and moan about it, but she's still in much better shape than I'll ever be. (And she can pass for my age in good lighting--which she insists on, the diva!)

Thanks Mom, for being the boot camp experience that taught me how to handle all the important fire-signed people in my life. :D

This weekend is CAH-RAY-Zee busy. Will try to steal a little time at dinner party tonight to map out how I'm going to finish my GOE fic...OH GOD DID I SAY THAT OUT LOUD?
