And while I'm neither short nor hairy-footed, I'm doing it hobbit-style.

Post me a prompt and I'll write you a drabble. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Good Omens, Daily Show, US Politics RPF, and I might take a stab at Pirates of the Caribbean, Discworld, or LOST if you hit my bunny spot. The ONLY, and I do mean ONLY, thing I won't do is anything really depressing, because this is a party.

No guarantees I will get to them today. In fact, I think it'd be fun to draw them out over the weekend...makes it all last longer.

My dear, dear, valued and beloved Vulgarweed .... I have only just discovered this now. It is a wonderful little gem. (It also points out how very long it has been since I saw you, and the need for me to plan a fresh trip to your neighbourhood -- we still haven't been to that jazz club for much talk and interesting drinks.)
