I aimed this at tyellas, because she wrote One Ring to Bind Them...geez, about 10 years ago.

It's Annatar/Celebrimbor, it's very kinky (tyellas devised a whole backstory for Elven BDSM), it fits into the Silmarillion mythos very well, and it's...well, I won't say it's "canon" because obviously it isn't--but the ending is still like it ended in canon, therefore definitely not happy. The journey it takes to get there is amazing, though. Read it. You'll be glad you did.

Edit: Finally finished it between cooking and cleaning and planning a trip for my sister, and I am indeed very glad that I read it. Oh my goodness. That was beautiful and epic and moving and by the end I was almost reduced to tears. Off to leave a review now. Thank you for linking it to me.
