Took advantage of the one-day $25 deal and registered for 221B Con!

This isn't a guarantee I'll actually be able to go. I live pretty paycheck-to-paycheck these days, and I'm also trying to save up for a major life change.

But I really really want to. This was a little act of faith.

I wish I could go - I thought I might be able to go this past year, but then the timing was really bad. And I can't plan anything that far in advance because it's sort of taunting the adoption gods. (Though that wouldn't be SUCH a terrible thing, I suppose. "Hey, Adoption Gods, I have spent $25 to go to this thing in April; now give me a baby so that I can't actually go!")

You know, I've never been at all driven to go to cons. I guess it's my introverted self; I actually prefer interacting with fans online. But I know from people who have gone that they quite enjoy it, so here's hoping you're able to make it work. This is a good step of faith, I think. :-)
