Tumblr is fun, but I learned more valuable life skills hand-coding HTML and making icons than I ever did reblogging.

I like hand-coding html! It makes me feel less old because LOOK KIDS! I MAY HAVE GRAY HAIR AND CELLULITE BUT I AM UP ON THE COMPUTER THINGY. (Yes, I know.)

I never felt at home on Tumblr, for many reasons, so I really hope people gravitate here even though it's not shiny.

I still code the html too! (Although I do use Astolat's macros for my fic entries). The rich text editor always borks things.

I'm SO out of practice with HTML. I even managed to mangle a pre-made template when I switched to "Rich Text" and then back again. :( I'm going to have to do some tutorial refreshers I think.

*waves* I started on LJ in 2008? 2009? Somewhere around there. I only just deleted my LJ account a year or two ago, when their TOS changed. I've been over here for a while, but haven't done much. I'm glad to see that the great Tumblr exodus has pushed people toward DW and Twitter!
