Heh. She's getting warm and fuzzy in her old age. I can see why she tried to force-feed me some cheer though - I saw myself in the office mirror today and realized wow, I do look pretty haggard.

V, dear, have you the luxury of just taking a few hours and doing something purely, indulgently, decadently for YOU? It may be something as simple as a good square meal + a long soak in a scented bath + a nice nap. But please, please, in the midst of holding your world together by your fingernails, remember to nurture and indulge yourself regularly. If you don't take care of you, who's gonna do all that stuff only you can do? (If that sounds familiar, it's the advice always given to primary care givers. It's hard advice to learn.)

Aw, thanks so much, love. I am enjoying tea and cookies for sure--but I'm also feeling a little bit prickly myself these days. Sometimes wounded animals want to be surrounded and nurtured by the pack--other times they want to lick their wounds in private and will bite anyone who comes near, and the past week I've been much more the latter than the former.

I'm so glad to read what changed for you - that is truly miraculous, and you can't ask for a better boost to your healing than that! ((hugs))
